Our Mission
We provide affordable access to high-performance flying for pilots in the Conroe and Houston areas. Our club is built on shared excellence, high safety standards, and a passion for fostering an exceptional community of aviators.
Who Can Join
Members must hold at least a Private Pilot License with 500+ hours of total time and complete an aircraft checkout. Instructors are welcome to apply for authorization. High-performance training may also be available upon request.
Where We’re Based
We are proudly based at Conroe-North Houston Regional Airport (CXO), serving pilots throughout the entire Houston metropolitan area.
Our Fleet
Our current pride is the Piper Cherokee 6—a comfortable, 6-seat high-performance aircraft with an 800+ NM range and modern Garmin avionics. We plan to expand our fleet as our club continues to grow.
Membership Info
1. Membership Costs
We keep our rates transparent and focused on value for active pilots.
- Initiation Fee (non-refundable): $500
- Monthly Dues: $175/month
- Hourly Dry Rate (Cherokee 6): $180/hour
2. Aircraft Availability
The Texas Airways Aero Club prioritizes fair access for all members.
- Shared Access: Members share scheduling of our Piper Cherokee 6
- Simple Scheduling: Reserve flights easily via Flight Circle
- Club membership is capped to ensure good availability
